The Programme
Two 30-minute sessions each week via Zoom, built around the three situations where medical English fluency matters most.
Conference Confidence
Presenting research clearly, fielding Q&A without freezing, networking naturally with peers from other countries. We work through your actual presentations, the language of cardiology panels, and the informal English of conference corridors — the part nobody teaches.
Research Fluency
Discussing clinical findings in spoken English, explaining methodology, articulating the implications of your work. We use real journal articles and research you're currently working on — so every session is immediately relevant.
Professional English
The daily language of international medical life: emails, introductions, visiting specialists, multidisciplinary meetings with non-English-speaking colleagues. Fluid, natural, appropriately informal — not textbook English, but real English.
A feature no other English tutor offers
After each Zoom class, your session is transcribed and analysed using AI. Within two hours, a personalised error report arrives in your inbox — identifying your most common mistakes, explaining why they sound unnatural, and giving you the exact phrases a native British speaker would use instead.
Zoom records your session automatically. The audio is transcribed using Whisper — the most accurate transcription tool available for non-native English speakers. The transcript is then analysed by AI trained to identify the specific patterns that intermediate-level European medical professionals most commonly produce. The report is in your inbox before your next clinical commitment of the day.

Do I need to be a cardiologist specifically?
No. The programme is designed for cardiologists and medical specialists broadly — including neurologists, oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other hospital physicians. The core need is the same: English fluency for international professional life.
What level of English do I need to start?
Intermediate and above. You should be able to hold a basic conversation in English. This programme is designed to move you from functional to fluent — not to teach you English from scratch.
How do the sessions work?
All sessions are via Zoom, one-to-one, 30 minutes each, twice a week. We schedule them around your clinical rota. Sessions are conversational — we talk, I guide, correct, and push you to use more natural and confident English in real situations.
How does the AI error analysis work?
Zoom records every session automatically. The audio is transcribed and then analysed to identify your most common errors — patterns that recur across the session, phrasing that sounds unnatural to a native speaker, and direct translation errors from your first language. The report lands in your inbox within two hours of the session ending, in plain language you can read and act on immediately.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
Medical schedules are unpredictable — I understand that. Sessions can be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice, and I'll always do my best to accommodate urgent clinical commitments.
Can I focus specifically on an upcoming conference?
Absolutely. If you have the ESC Congress, a visiting professorship, or any other English-language event on the horizon, we can structure a significant portion of your sessions around that specific goal.
